    Sariska Safari Details

    The forest of Sariska Tiger Reserve is divided into multiple safari zones or Routes for Tourists, which can be entered from 3 Different gates Sariska Gate (Core Zone), Telha Gate(Core Zone), Baraliwari Gate (Buffer Zone). Each gate has an almost equal Tiger Population & equal probability of Tiger Sightings.

    Please note that choosing a Nature Guide, Jeep Driver, or Specific Jeep or Canter is not in our control. All these things are managed by the forest department of Sariska on a random basis led by the automated computerized system, which makes sure that the safari vehicle and Guide are distributed among the zone equally.

    As per the current booking policies of Sariska Tiger Reserve, In one Shift (Morning / Evening)15 Jeeps (6 Seater) & 15 Canter (20 Seater) are allowed to enter the Sariska safari zone for Sariska Gate and 5 Jeeps (6 Seater) each are allowed to enter from Telha & Baraliwari Gate. The Sariska Safari tour duration is about 3 hours to 3.5 hours and it can be done in 2 shifts Morning and evening. Here visitors have the choice to choose the safari shift / Slot.

    The allotment of Sariska Tiger Reserve Safari is done on a first-come, first-served basis, and visitors must pay the complete permit fee in advance to confirm the Sariska Safari Booking. The allotment of a Safari Vehicle is done on the same day of the safari and the fees for the confirmed booking of Jeep and Canter Safari are nonrefundable and non-transferable.

    Types of Safari in Sariska

    In Sariska, there are 2 different safari options: Jeep Safari and Canter Safari. Both safaris run in two shifts, morning and evening, and the average safari lasts 3.5 hours.

    Jeep Safari – In Sariska, Jeep Safari is conducted with a 4 by 4 Maruti Suzuki gypsy, which can hold a maximum of 6 passengers, excluding the driver and guide. It is a suggested option for you if you wish to see and enjoy the animal sightings. 

    Canter Safari – Canter safaris are conducted in an open minibus that can hold a maximum of 20 passengers, not including the driver and guide. Canter is your greatest alternative if you’re traveling in a group and don’t want to spend money on several jeeps.

    Visitors must be at the boarding point 10 minutes prior to the start of the safari. There, they will locate our representative who will help them with the safari vehicle and guide.

    Things to keep in mind before booking Safari in Sariska:

    • Safari booking requires full payment in advance.
    • Every visitor must present identification for the Safari Booking. 
    • On confirmed bookings, there is no room for cancellation or refund.
    • The safari tickets are not exchangeable and cannot be given to another person.
    • The identical ID card that you provided for the online booking must be carried on your person.
    • Sariska Gate and Telha Gate are separated by 68.9 km.
    • Choosing a gate depends on your stay and which gate is closest to it. Sariska Gate is a good option if you are traveling for a single day. 
    • Children under the age of five are not charged for the safari.
    • You have 365 days to make a booking for your safari.
    • For making safari booking passport details are mandatory for foreign visitors. 
    • In accordance with availability, safari permits are given out on a first-come, first-served basis.
    • Without giving visitors any advance notice, the park may close.
    • Visitors will be required to pay the difference at the time of entry into the park in the case of any revisions in the fees after the booking or incomplete occupancy.
    • The guests must arrive at the boarding location 10 minutes prior to the safari’s planned departure time.
    • It is generally wise to reserve safaris and accommodations in advance because there is a significant rush on weekends and holidays.
    • The morning safari typically begins 30 minutes after sunrise, the evening safari ends 30 minutes before sunset.
    • The timings change to the changing of the seasons. A maximum of three and a half hours are permitted for each safari.
